Travel has always been a passion, and a big priority for Linda and I, Europe has become a favourite destination as a result of friends met in Florida who live in Italy…and France…So, spending 3 to 6 weeks each year there is not unusual….cycling trips, and trips by ourselves have always been on our mind, and invariably are so much fun….filled with unique residences Linda finds in historic hillside villages, allowing us the ability of driving around the regions in those countries…Within France, the area of Provence,…with Menerbes, Goult, Gordes , Vaison-la-Romaine are our favourite villages for outstanding painting material …as well as Normandy…and of course, Paris. In Italy we enjoy the Puglia area…as well as the rolling hills of Umbria..so many beautiful places to stay and soak up the life and culture…. Once again Linda has an eye for picking rental properties that exude history, character and local personality….and gives me an opportunity to paint…and get lots of material for future paintings….
