Our Ontario home is in Thornbury…just north of Collingwood, yet in the Blue Mountains region…lots of farm fields….ski hills….cycling routes….and acres of painting material….On any day, I can ride out to Creemore, Pretty River. Meaford, and Owen Sound, and find wonderful subjects with built in compositions ready to paint… The subjects change with the seasons, and the Fall and Winter offer up the most dramatic opportunities, and always get my attention. I’m continually taking photos for reference….and many times, I will show them to my wife Linda, and say “I don’t have one like that….do I?”…..and she will say no…just 300!!…..My art is in 2 galleries in the area….
